Will my colleagues really take the time to write?+
The AI assistant asks the right questions, so they only have to answer in their own words. And anyone who would rather write it themselves can skip the conversation.
The person leaving is not on Take Your Skills. Does it still work?+
Yes. We create their personal profile at the moment you give them the gift. They can fill it in or delete it afterwards, it is their choice.
Is it really free?+
Yes. Take Your Skills is free for everyone: you who organise the pack, the colleagues who contribute, and the person who receives it. No adverts, no hidden paid plan.
How long does it take to prepare a Leaving Pack?+
We suggest two weeks, to give people time to write. But it also works in 24 hours when someone is leaving at short notice.
What leaving gift should you give a colleague?+
A signed card, a bottle or a gift voucher are lovely on the day, then they fade. The Leaving Pack brings together the recommendations written by the whole team: your colleague discovers them all at once, then keeps them on their Take Your Skills profile for the rest of their career. Nothing stops you adding something to unwrap as well.
Does a Leaving Pack work for a retirement?+
Yes. Colleagues' recommendations become a written record of a whole career, to read again whenever they like. They stay useful if there is a next chapter, from consulting to volunteering.
How do you give a group gift without asking everyone for money?+
The Leaving Pack is free for you, for the colleagues who write, and for the person who receives it. Everyone takes part by writing a recommendation, not by chipping in. So nobody has to run a collection.
Can you organise a Leaving Pack when the team works remotely?+
Yes, all of it happens online. You share the Leaving Pack link by email, Slack, Teams or WhatsApp, and each colleague writes their recommendation from their computer or their phone. On the day, the person receives their Leaving Pack by email: you can open it together during a leaving do on video.
Do you need an account to take part?+
Yes, a free account is needed both to create a Leaving Pack and to write a recommendation in one. You sign in with a code sent by email. Each colleague writes one recommendation per Leaving Pack, and everything stays secret until the day.
